Privacy notice

What we collect

• Sellers: the name you use on CampusCart, your WhatsApp number, a password (stored in scrambled form, never in plain text), your listings and their photos.
• Buyers: we don't need an account. If you tap "Contact seller", your message is sent from your own WhatsApp. CampusCart does not store it.

What we use it for

To publish approved listings, let buyers reach sellers on WhatsApp, check sellers before approval, and remove misuse.

Who can see it

• Approved listings show the seller name, WhatsApp number, photos and listing details to everyone. Sellers agree to this when they post.
• Only the CampusCart admin can see sellers' account details and pending listings.
• Our hosting and database providers (Cloudflare and Supabase) store the data on our behalf.

How long we keep it

• Listings expire after 30 days. The admin removes photos of expired listings regularly, so they are not kept indefinitely.
• Seller accounts are kept until you ask us to delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us to change or delete your listing or account at any time. Message the admin on WhatsApp at @eventsbychanges.

Keeping it safe

Passwords are stored in scrambled form. Admin access is protected by a separate password. Do not share your password with anyone, including people who say they are from CampusCart.
